Marissa Hushaw - Grind Out Hunger Winter
14 year old Santa Cruz native, Marissa Hushaw has joined the Grind Out Hunger army in an attempt to fight hunger within Santa Cruz County and beyond. Marissa has been snowboarding since she was 6 years old and is wanting to use her snowboarding experience to help the community.
Learning that 1:4 kids are going hungry in Santa Cruz daily was an eye opener for her. She wants to do everything she can, through her snowboarding, to help the kids in the town that she was raised in.
Marissa has reached her initial $1000 goal for Winter, but shes not planning on stopping there. Any and all donations are appreciated. Click the button below to donate today.
